Acre – Los Cabos Hidden Gem
In the often loud and lively city of Cabo, Acre was the oasis we didn’t know we were looking for. We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident on our way to Flora Farms. This accident ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
After traversing some sketchy dirt roads up a hill and down into a canyon, we arrived at the front of the restaurant which looked like a tiny jungle in the middle of the desert.
The ambiance of Acre is spectacular. The trees, soft lighting, and low-key live music make it easy to relax. In addition to the great dining and bar area, the property has an amazing venue area with a modern pool and a large concrete area with trees and string lights perfect for any event or occasion.
Between the 6 of us, we had multiple appetizers and a variety of different entrees – all of which were incredible. Even something as simple as a chicken sandwich gets taken to new heights. In addition to the delicious food, the bar has a great array of unique cocktails that are sure to keep you refreshed.
Gina ordered the bacon ranch chicken sandwich which she loved and highly recommends. I ordered the fresh catch tataki and the flavors were wonderful.
For sides, we recommend the tempura onion rings and the sweet potato fries. Everything we tried was superb, and I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with anything you order.
